Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A Clinical Pharmacist position is available to provide expert pharmaceutical care within a closed-door mail order environment. This role is focused on delivering advanced pharmacotherapy services while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based medication use.Location: Indianapolis, INSchedule:Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PMPossible Saturdays based on business needsDuration: 13-week contract to hireResponsibilities:Accurately dispense medications in accordance with prescription orders.Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and potential interactions.Review and interpret physician orders to confirm appropriateness of therapy.Monitor drug therapies for interactions, contraindications, and duplications.Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize therapeutic outcomes and encourage adherence.Maintain detailed and accurate patient records including medication history and clinical interventions.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.Oversee proper medication storage, including monitoring expiration and product integrity.Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement programs.Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking pharmaceuticals.Provide outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with pharmacy advancements.Qualifications:PharmD degree required.Licensed to practice pharmacy in Indiana.California pharmacy license preferred or willingness to reciprocate; assistance with licensing costs available.This contract to hire opportunity provides the chance to work in a structured environment with a focus on clinical pharmacy services and patient care. xijylhu Candidates who meet these criteria and seek to contribute in a mail order setting are encouraged to apply.
