This role offers a 13-week opportunity with potential for contract to hire or permanent placement for candidates willing to relocate. Situated in Ogallala, Nebraska, the pharmacy provides a stable and supportive environment with experienced staff committed to high-quality patient care.Location: Ogallala, NebraskaPosition Type: Contract to Hire / PermanentAssignment Duration: 13 weeks (with potential extension)Schedule:1st Shift: 9:00 am 6:00 pm, Monday through FridaySome weekends as neededKey Responsibilities:Dispense medications accurately and ensure safe distribution to patients under the supervision of the managerCounsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and therapy regimensRespond promptly and professionally to patient inquiries and concerns following company policiesMaintain accurate stock levels, controlled drug records, and inventoriesResolve insurance coverage issues and assist with patient problem-solvingAdminister immunizations in accordance with guidelinesQualifications and Experience:Active, clear pharmacist license in NebraskaMinimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience requiredFamiliarity with retail pharmacy operations preferredProficiency with Liberty Rx software is a plusWork Environment:This pharmacy team includes multiple pharmacists on staff (two during weekdays, three on Sundays) and five well-trained technicians, many with long tenure. This ensures strong support for any pharmacist joining as temporary help or transitioning into a permanent role.
