Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) position is available for a dedicated professional ready to lead and oversee all pharmacy operations at a home infusion pharmacy. This role focuses on ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and the successful achievement of pharmacy objectives while fostering future business growth and financial stability.Location: Bellevue, IA (with flexibility to work in Cedar Rapids, IA)Schedule:Day shift with the responsibility to provide 24-hour guidance to employees and pharmacy services as neededResponsibilities:Oversee staffing to maintain scheduled hours of operation consistentlyPerform pharmacy personnel duties when necessary to support the teamDirectly supervise dispensing of pharmaceutical products, supplies, and equipmentEnsure strict compliance with all company policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standardsAssist in the development, review, and implementation of pharmacy policies and proceduresLead orientation, training, and development for pharmacy staffParticipate in on-site inspections, survey readiness, and accreditation processesMaintain communication with staff and management, encompassing verbal interactions and prolonged computer work, while occasionally handling physical tasks such as lifting and standingQualifications:Bachelor of Science or PharmD from an accredited pharmacy schoolActive Iowa Pharmacist License (additional licenses desirable)Minimum of 4 years recent clinical pharmacy experience, with home infusion expertise requiredPreferred: 2+ years clinical pharmacy management experienceFamiliarity with CPR+ software is a plusAdditional Information:Contract-to-hire opportunity with options for a 13-week temporary assignment or direct hire$20,000 sign-on bonus and $5,000 relocation assistance available for direct hire candidatesSalary is negotiableIowa pharmacist license fees will be coveredThis role offers the chance to take leadership responsibilities in a specialized pharmacy setting with ample opportunities for career growth. xijylhu Qualified candidates who meet the above criteria are encouraged to apply to advance their careers in pharmacy management and home infusion services.
