Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A leadership opportunity exists for a Pharmacist-in-Charge specializing in sterile compounding within a well-established compounding pharmacy in Albany, Ohio. This direct hire position offers the potential for temp-to-perm conversion and includes relocation assistance for candidates considering a move to the area.Location & Schedule:Albany, OhioOnsite roleMonday through Friday, standard business hoursKey Responsibilities:Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge for Ohio along with managing licensure in additional non-resident states as neededEnsure compliance with FDA, DEA, State Boards of Pharmacy, and Section 503B requirementsLead inspections and regulatory audits by the Board of Pharmacy, FDA, and DEA; represent the facility during these evaluationsDevelop, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training programsOversee regulatory reporting, recall management, complaint handling, and quality investigationsManage Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes, including batch record reviews, deviation tracking, and environmental monitoringDirect validation activities for equipment, systems, and processesImplement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS)Supervise vendor qualifications, incoming materials oversight, and product labeling reviewsAnalyze and present quality metrics to site and corporate leadershipQualifications:Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing; multi-state licensure experience preferredBachelors Degree in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)Minimum of 5 years leadership experience with team managementExpertise in cGMP, FDA and DEA regulations, sterile injectable manufacturing, and non-sterile compoundingProven track record leading regulatory audits and inspectionsStrong communication skills for clear presentation of complex regulatory informationProficient with Microsoft Office applicationsPreferred Experience:10+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device or related industries7+ years in quality assurance or compliance roles with progressive responsibilityBenefits:Competitive salary packageRelocation assistance to support your transitionComprehensive benefits including health, dental, flexible spending accounts401(k) plan with company contributionsCompany-paid life and disability insuranceGenerous paid time off with increases based on tenureTuition reimbursement to support continuing educationOpportunities for long-term career growth and advancementThis role provides a chance to lead regulatory and quality initiatives in a dynamic compounding pharmacy setting.
