Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A well-established independent community pharmacy is seeking a full-time pharmacist to support increasing prescription volume and expanding operations in Ogallala, Nebraska. This opportunity offers a 13-week travel assignment with potential for contract-to-hire or permanent placement, ideal for pharmacists interested in joining a growing team in a supportive environment.Location: Ogallala, NESchedule:1st shift: 9:00am 6:00pm, Monday FridaySome weekends as neededKey Responsibilities:Dispense medications accurately and efficiently under manager supervisionCounsel and advise patients on medication use and treatment regimensRespond to patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and in line with policiesMaintain stock levels, including controlled substances and inventory documentationResolve patient issues and clarify insurance or third-party coverage mattersAdminister immunizations following established protocolsQualifications and Experience:Active and clear pharmacist license in Nebraska requiredMinimum of 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy settingStrong preference for candidates with retail pharmacy experienceFamiliarity with Liberty Rx software is a plusThis pharmacy currently handles over 10,000 prescriptions monthly and operates with a highly trained, dedicated team including two pharmacists on weekdays and three on Sundays, supported by five experienced pharmacy technicians.
