Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A school psychologist opportunity is available for a contract position in Monroe County, Michigan, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This role requires working onsite at one of several school locations including Airport, Dundee, Monroe, Jefferson, Bedford, and Whiteford. The contract spans the 2025-2026 school year, with a start date as soon as possible and an end date of May 22, 2026.Key Responsibilities:Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for K-12 studentsCollaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)Provide counseling and support services to studentsAssist in crisis intervention and behavior management strategiesMonitor student progress and adjust interventions as neededMaintain accurate and confidential student recordsQualifications:Valid Michigan School Psychologist license (verification required)Experience working with K-12 students preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively onsite in diverse school environmentsFamiliarity with school-based psychological services and compliance standardsHours and Location:Full-time, 37.5 hours per weekOnsite work only at school locations within Monroe County, including Airport, Dundee, Monroe, Jefferson, Bedford, and WhitefordThis contract role offers the chance to make a significant impact on student learning and wellbeing across multiple school communities.
