Coordinates with consultants, assists in producing detailed drawings and specifications, and supports bidding and construction administration activities.*Essential Duties & Responsibilities** Knowledgeable in the preparation of accurate working drawings and specifications.* Establishes and maintains budgets and schedules for architectural project aspects.* Knowledgeable in building codes, life safety and fire protection requirements and regulations.* Ability to accurately perform a code evaluation of varying types of projects.* Completes proposals and conducts presentations (with direction) to various clients.* May serve as lead architect on projects as required.* Completes bid documents and compile bid evaluations with direction.* Interfaces with all engineering disciplines.* Conducts departmental checking of all drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.* Provide detailed correspondence including transmittals, shop drawing processing, change orders and product information on designated projects.* Manages and educates architectural staff assigned to projects.* Travels to various site locations as necessary to fulfill project scope requirements.* Show strong management skills with respect to scope, schedule, and budget.* Performs other duties as required for the efficient operation of the department and successful implementation of all departmental goals.*Minimum Qualifications** Bachelor of Science in Architecture required.
