Embedded Systems Engineer

Will review customer requirements, suggest solutions, and coordinate product integration, delivery, and support, and other duties as assigned. Employee will strive to satisfy the needs of customers with on time delivery and continuous improvement in quality, products and services.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaintain and Update Customer requirements.Create and Maintain System requirements.Manage change and approval process.Ensure full traceability of requirements to subsystems and functional teams.Systems Architecture:Evaluate new and existing architectures against requirements to address gaps.Manage and minimize proliferation of System ConfigurationsEvaluate alternatives and support make/buy decisions.System Integration:Support System level DFM activities initiate changes as required.Address compatibility & interoperability w.r.t. technology, industry, and regulatory standards.Verification and Validation:Ensure full traceability to verification and validation plans and reports.Consult, support, and help with tools and test plans as required.Cross Functional support:Identify and manage risk in products and processes.Coordinate with sales/FAEs to evaluate initial feasibility of configurations.Assist Program and Engineering Managers with requirements clarifications, managing scope creep and developing contingency plans. xijylhu Support manufacturing facility as required on issues post launch.PM21Requirements:Embedded Systems Engineer Job RequirementsRequiredBS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent, including experience5+ years of experience in engineeringExperience with computer architecture or embedded systems hardware designKnowledge of computer hardware & software architectureAbility to manage time and work on multiple projects concurrentlyFamiliarity with production techniques and processesExperience with operating systems (i.e., Windows, Linux, etc.)Familiarity with MRP, CRM; or equivalent systemsProject management experienceAbility to communicate effectivelyDesiredMasters in engineering/computer science-related program7+ years of experience in engineering or technical supportKnowledge of compliance and regulatory requirementsLean/Six Sigma experience*NO RECRUITERS PLEASE*PIa471d9c9c638-3631
