We foster a supportive and collaborative work environment where every team member plays a key role in helping our clients seek justice.*Key Responsibilities:** Handle personal injury and habitability cases from intake through resolution.* Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.* Manage the discovery process, including drafting and responding to written discovery, reviewing evidence, and preparing discovery-related motions.* Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.* Communicate with clients to provide case updates, legal advice, and manage expectations throughout the litigation process.* Appear at hearings, mediations, and case management conferences as needed.* Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and legal arguments.* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant law and legal precedents.*Qualifications:** Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.* _*Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.*_* 2-3 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury, habitability, or related civil litigation.* Experience managing cases through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice.* Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.* Confidence in communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.*Desired Attributes:** Strong work ethic and commitment to client advocacy.* Dedication to serving and advocating for clients from low-income and underserved communities.* Proactive and resourceful problem-solver.* Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities effectively.* Team player with a collaborative mindset.* Positive attitude and resilience in handling challenging cases.* Eagerness to learn and grow within the firm.*Benefits:** Year-End Bonus: Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on company, team, and individual performance.* Retirement Plan: Eligibility to participate in the firm's retirement plan, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements.* Health Insurance: 100% of premiums paid by employer after completion of 90-day probationary period.* Vacation: 5 vacation days after completion of probationary period; 10 vacation days annually after one year of employment.* Sick Leave: 6 paid sick days annually.* Paid Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Post-Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.* Parking: Fully paid parking.* Supportive work environment with a focus on work-life balance.* Flexible schedule. xijylhu *Position Details:** Firm: DAG Law Firm* Title: Associate Attorney* Location: Studio City, CA 91604* Work Setting: Onsite position (in-office)* Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (This is a salaried position; employees are expected to work additional hours as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.)* Pay: $90,000.00 - $135,000.00 per yearJob Type: Full-timePay: $90,000.00 - $135,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Paid time off* Retirement planPeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyApplication Question(s):* Active member in good standing with the California State Bar?Ability to Commute:* Studio City, CA 91604 (Required)Work Location: In person
