The position requires close cooperation and coordination with other team members across the organization.THE DETAILSPerform due diligence and underwriting of prospective acquisitions and developmentsProvide support for the acquisition, financing, development and disposition processPrepare financial modeling to support and guide both acquisition and asset management decisionsTrack leasing, operating, and capital expenditure performance against underwriting assumptionsSupport annual budgeting, reforecasting, and long-term hold & short-term flip analysesAssist with evaluating value-add initiatives and return on capital expendituresPrepare presentation materials on new and existing investments for internal and external usesAnalyze and monitor the financial performance of properties including financial modeling, benchmarking to budget, and collaborating with management in executing business plansAssist with analysis of the overall market and monitor industry trendsMaintain data integrity across underwriting, asset management, and portfolio modelsAssisting in relationship management and the preparation of quarterly reportsHelp with the development and conservation of a financial portfolio model and performance management platformTHE QUALIFICATIONSDegree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related degreeBachelor's degree required, Real Estate a plus, with a minimum of 1-5 years of experienceAdvanced Excel-based financial modeling skills; familiarity with asset management software is a plusRobust verbal and written skills to connect with internal and external professionals effectivelyProficient in Word, Adobe and Power Point Basic knowledge of real estate transactions xijylhu Exceptional organizational skills to being able to monitor processes and prioritizeStrong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to evaluate investment risks and returnsSelf-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environmentStrong work ethic and meet critical deadlinesTHE BENEFITSCompetitive Base Salary and performance bonus (Base salary of $65,000 - $95,000)A robust package of Health (Medical, Dental, Vision), paid vacation benefits, and among other thingsOpportunity to grow within the acquisitions/growth teams, operations, and corporate officeTHE LOCTIONThis position is in office at 2100 West Loop South, Houston, TX 77027
