This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in construction management while gaining hands-on experience across all phases of commercial projects. The Project Engineer will support Project Managers and help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Between the success of this company (30+ years of quality production and security), the growth opportunity (clear path from PE -> APM -> PM -> Sr. PM status), and the small team culture, this opportunity is one to be really excited about!Key Responsibilities:Assist with day-to-day project management activities on commercial construction projectsSupport the preparation, review, and tracking of submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentationCoordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and engineersMaintain project schedules, logs, and reportsAssist with cost tracking, budget updates, and quantity takeoffsParticipate in project meetings and jobsite walksEnsure compliance with safety standards, contract requirements, and company proceduresHelp close out projects, including as-built documentation and warrantiesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) xijylhu 0-3+ years of experience in commercial construction (internship or co-op experience welcomed)Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsExcellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindsetAbility to report out of an office in Waukesha/Brookfield areaWhat We Offer:Competitive salary (70k-85k) based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional growth and advancement
