Title: Electrical Estimator (Construction)You could be just the right applicant for this job Read all associated information and make sure to apply.Compensation: $100,000 to $130,000About The RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our construction team. This role is responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical construction projects by reviewing plans, specifications, and other project documentation. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and able to collaborate effectively with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to support successful project pursuits.Key ResponsibilitiesEstimating & TakeoffsPerform accurate quantity takeoffs from blueprints, drawings, and specificationsAnalyze electrical diagrams and project plans to determine scope and installation requirementsUtilize estimating software and tools to build comprehensive project estimatesCost Analysis & Proposal DevelopmentIdentify labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and vendor requirementsDevelop detailed cost estimates and bid proposals aligned with project specificationsSolicit, review, and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes for accuracy and competitivenessProject & Bid CoordinationPrepare RFIs, clarifications, and proposal documents for bid submissionsCoordinate estimating timelines and ensure all deliverables meet bid deadlinesWork closely with project management and operations teams to ensure alignment on project scope and pricing strategyCommunication & DocumentationMaintain organized documentation of estimates, assumptions, and bid detailsCommunicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and partners throughout the estimating processOccasionally travel to job sites or client locations as neededQualificationsAssociate's degree in Electrical Construction, Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)3+ years of experience in electrical construction, estimating, or a related roleStrong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office toolsExcellent organization, communication, and time-management abilitiesAbility to work independently and manage multiple deadlinesPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field5+ years of experience in electrical or construction estimatingExperience xijylhu with industry estimating software (e.g., McCormick or similar platforms)Electrical field experience (e.g., Journeyperson) or relevant certificationsKnowledge of applicable electrical codes and design standardsWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation based on experienceFull-time, stable career opportunity in a growing construction environmentComprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time offCollaborative team culture with opportunities for professional growthThis is an excellent opportunity for someone well-versed in construction projects looking for a pivot or an experienced estimator looking to grow their career in electrical construction and contribute to high-impact commercial and industrial projects.Thank you,Rachel StewartLaSalle Network
