Preconstruction Project Executive

DescriptionIf you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.Currently, The Fordy Group is seeking a Construction Professional to join our team as a Preconstruction Project Executive (Senior Level Estimator) to lead our team to excellence!We are looking for someone that is looking to lead, grow, advance, including interest in for management and development of people in addition to managing projects.Preparing detailed cost estimates, quantitative surveys, life cycle cost analysis studies and value engineering studies of mechanical/plumbing/electrical systems for institutional, commercial and/or industrial related facilitiesAssisting other team members with preparing civil, architectural and/or structural preconstruction related services, as requiredAssisting in developing the CPM project schedulePreparing written scopes of work, detailed plan and specification reviewsConducting field inspections and coordination of project deliveryQualifications for this position include:8-10 years in a lead estimating/preconstruction roleA B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred; however a BS degree in a construction related field is required (civil engineering, construction management, construction technology, etc.)A working knowledge of Estimating Software is preferredPrevious experience in estimating/project management is preferredExperience in preparing detailed energy modeling studies is preferred LEED Accredited Professional is preferredPrimavera software scheduling experience is a plusThorough working xijylhu knowledge of MS Office software including MS Word, MS Excel is requiredThe Fordy Group offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits including:Parental leaveTuition reimbursementHealth & wellness challenges and incentivesGenerous paid time off and holidaysFlexible spending account401(k) with company matchCareer PathHealth (HSA & traditional), Dental, Vision, and Life InsuranceLong and Short-Term Disability Insurance
