Construction Manager (hospitality / retail)

Quest Group is seeking an Construction Manager / Construction Manager to support ground-up development and redevelopment projects for a growing real estate developer & investment firm. This role will work closely with senior leadership and development team to help oversee multi-tenant and/or retail projects from pre-construction through close-out. The ideal candidate has hands-on construction experience, strong coordination skills, and a solid understanding of the unique demands of retail and multi-tenant developments.If your skills, experience, and qualifications match those in this job overview, do not delay your application.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in managing ground-up construction projects from pre-construction through completionSupport coordination of architects, engineers, consultants, general contractors, and subcontractorsHelp review construction drawings, specifications, budgets, schedules, and change ordersMonitor project schedules, budgets, and quality control to ensure alignment with development goalsParticipate in on-site meetings, inspections, and progress reviewsAssist with procurement, contract administration, and documentation trackingReview pay applications, invoices, and cost reports for accuracy and complianceTrack RFIs, submittals, and change requestsSupport tenant coordination and build-out processes for multi-tenant and retail spacesAssist with punch lists, close-out documentation, and turnover to property managementEnsure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management or related rolesPrior experience with ground-up development requiredExperience with multi-tenant and/or retail construction strongly preferredWorking knowledge of construction means and methods, schedules, and cost xijylhu controlsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsProficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera, or similar)Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience working for an owner, developer, or real estate investment firmExposure to tenant improvement (TI) coordination and phased deliveriesOSHA certification or similar safety trainingExperience with value engineering and cost optimization
