This is a great opportunity to join a well-respected contractor delivering projects across a diverse portfolio throughout South Florida.The company works with local school boards, federal, state, and county governments, as well as private developers, delivering electrical work across a wide range of sectors. Their portfolio includes everything from smaller renovation projects to large-scale, complex developments such as high-rise buildings, educational facilities, and healthcare projects.The RoleAs an Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing competitive bids, analyzing project plans, and supporting the preconstruction process to ensure accurate and profitable proposals.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed electrical estimates and cost proposals for a range of commercial and public sector projectsReview drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine scope and requirementsPerform quantity takeoffs and pricing for materials, labour, and equipmentWork closely with project managers, engineers, and leadership during the bid processIdentify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutionsMaintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricingAssist with bid submissions and ensure all deadlines are metRequirementsExperience as an Electrical Estimator within an electrical contractorStrong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and construction processesExperience estimating projects across commercial, education, healthcare, xijylhu or government sectors is highly desirableAbility to interpret construction drawings and specificationsExperience with estimating software and Microsoft OfficeStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary $85,000 - $125,000 depending on experienceOpportunity to work on high-profile public and private sector projectsStable pipeline of work across multiple industry sectorsSupportive and collaborative team environmentLong-term career progression within a growing contractor
