Location: Austin, TX Area (On-Site) Position Type: Full-Time Reports To: Executive Infrastructure LeadershipRead on to fully understand what this job requires in terms of skills and experience If you are a good match, make an application.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning & Technical LeadershipLead master planning for a 50MW campus optimized for 50kW-100kW+ per rack densityServe as design authority across MEP systems supporting high-density AI computeArchitect cooling strategies including Direct-to-Chip (DLC) and rear-door heat exchanger (RDHx) solutionsDefine redundancy models (N+1, 2N) aligned to inference SLAs and total cost of ownership targetsConstruction & Project DeliverySelect and oversee EPC partners, GCs, and specialty subcontractorsOwn capital budget ($100M+ range) and master project scheduleDrive critical path milestones to achieve "first packet" deliveryDevelop procurement strategies for long-lead equipment (switchgear, generators, chillers, CDUs, MV gear)Mitigate supply chain risk across key infrastructure componentsPower & Thermal InfrastructureLead utility coordination and substation development to ramp capacity to 50MWOversee implementation of advanced liquid cooling loops for next-generation GPUs/TPUsDeliver PUE targets below 1.2Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure adherence to building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standardsMaintain rigorous on-site safety culture and HSE complianceQualifications:Experience10+ years in mission-critical data center construction3+ years in leadership delivering projects exceeding 20MWProven experience with high-density compute environments (AI, HPC, crypto, or similar)Direct experience implementing liquid cooling infrastructure (required)Technical xijylhu ExpertiseStrong command of medium-voltage electrical distributionDeep understanding of large-scale mechanical cooling systems and thermodynamicsExperience operating within hyperscale or advanced compute environmentsFinancial & Operational AcumenManaged CAPEX programs exceeding $100MStrong commercial negotiation skills with EPCs and equipment vendorsAbility to manage complex on-site engineering challenges under aggressive timelinesEducationBachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction ManagementPE or PMP strongly preferred
