This role combines senior-level property management with people management and strategic oversight to ensure strong building operations, client satisfaction, and team performance.The Account Executive, Condo/Coop serves as a senior point of contact for boards and ownership, supports property managers in their portfolios, and helps ensure consistent processes, service standards, and operational excellence across the condo/coop portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesPortfolio LeadershipOversee a portfolio of condominium and cooperative properties, ensuring high-quality management and service deliveryServe as a senior escalation point for boards, owners, and internal team membersMaintain strong relationships with board members and ownership, ensuring proactive communication and partnershipGuide managers on complex building matters including governance, financials, capital projects, and complianceTeam ManagementLead and manage Condo/Co-op Property Managers and Assistant Property ManagersLead weekly meetings with each Property Manager as well as weekly team-wide condo/coop ("L10") meetingsProvide coaching, mentorship, and professional development for team membersConduct regular check-ins, performance management, and support career growthSupport hiring, onboarding, and training of new property management team membersOperational OversightEnsure consistent execution of property management processes and best practices across the condo/coop portfolioMonitor building operations, vendor management, maintenance planning, and capital improvement projectsPartner with accounting and leadership to ensure strong financial oversight, budgeting, and reportingClient Relationship ManagementMaintain strong relationships with board members and ownership groups, including regular check ins to provide consistent customer serviceAttend key board meetings as needed and support managers in board communicationsEnsure client concerns and escalations are handled promptly and professionallyStrategic SupportHelp develop and implement management standards, operational processes, and service improvementsPartner with leadership across departments to ensure alignment and collaborationIdentify opportunities to improve building operations, client satisfaction, and team efficiencyMeasurables & Success MetricsSuccess in this role will be measured using the following criteria:Client SatisfactionMinimal escalations from boards or ownership to senior leadershipStrong board relationships and retention of managed buildingsTeam Leadership xijylhu Property Managers supported with clear guidance, coaching, and accountabilityRegular team meetings and consistent communication rhythmsOperational ExecutionBuildings operating smoothly with strong vendor management and proactive maintenance planningCompliance with company processes, reporting standards, and internal systemsPortfolio PerformanceFinancials, budgets, and building operations managed effectivelyStrong collaboration across management, accounting, and leadership teamsQualifications7+ years of residential property management experience, with significant experience managing condominiums and cooperativesPrior people management experience, including managing property managers or similar rolesStrong experience working directly with boards and ownership groupsExcellent communication and relationship management skillsStrong organizational and operational leadership abilitiesAbility to manage complex building issues while supporting and mentoring team members
