With a longstanding reputation for safety, quality, and innovation, we are committed to delivering exceptional value and service to our clients. Job Summary:The Project Manager supports all construction activities: preconstruction, in-progress, post construction. The ideal candidate will work to oversee the client relationship throughout the project to ensure satisfaction while also managing the day-to-day activities in the field. Each project will require the Project Manager to successfully manage the team, schedule meetings, and ensure high quality results. Safety is of the utmost importance, so the Project Manager will also need to work closely with the safety team to understand and enforce all safety requirements. Job Responsibilities:Coordinate and lead handoff and kickoff meetingsMaintain client communication throughout the project lifecycleEnsure project setup paperwork is accurate and completeIdentify and procure permits, materials, and laborFollow up on submittal approvals and issue purchase order requestsAssist the Field Supervisor with project startup and schedulingSolicit subcontractor quotes, issue awards and purchase orders, and define scope of workAttend on-site construction meetingsManage and update the project schedule weekly; maintain project notes and recordsPrepare and issue change orders to clients and follow up on executionResolve customer collection issuesMonitor job costs by reviewing weekly reports and investigating budget variancesCoordinate with Accounting and Payroll on invoice questionsEnsure Field Supervisors prepare daily reports and have necessary materials/toolsSupport Field Supervisors with miscellaneous tasks and correspondencePrioritize and collaborate on closeout documentsFollow up on final billing, payments, and receivablesComplete post-job After Action forms and attend post-job meetingsObtain customer satisfaction surveysOversee timely project inspections and closeouts Qualifications, skills, and all relevant experience needed for this role can be found in the full description below.Job Qualifications:Minimum of three (3) years of Roofing industry experience with a heavy emphasis in Commercial Roofing as well as Sheet MetalMinimum of three (3) years of experience managing, mentoring and training crewsProficient in performing roof measurements, reading architectural drawings, interpreting construction schedules and bid data, and entering information into estimating and project management programsPossess OSHA 30 Hour Card OR be willing to take online course within the first 30 days of employment to receive certificationSafety conscious and willing to adhere/support others on company safety policies and proceduresFocus on customer care and relationshipsAbility to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds (both written and oral)Strong time management, planning, and organization skills to organize resources for multiple job sites projects while managing your own scheduleCapable of comprehending, explaining, xijylhu and presenting roofing system solutions to customers and problem solve for any concerns or inquiries on their behalfBasic computer and technical skills and ability to learn and administer functions in company software systems to effectively perform dutiesAbility to adapt to changing requests in a timely and professional manner Physical Requirements:Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and use hands for various tasksVision capabilities may include close visionFrequent climbing, bending, kneeling, and using hand tools and power toolsMust perform essential job functions safely and consistently in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and other applicable standardsBenefits:Profit Improvement Incentive15 Days of Paid Time Off and 7 paid Company holidays a yearHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceCompany-paid life insurance401(k) with company matchShort and Long-Term Disability Insurance optionsHealth Savings Account with company contributionEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)
