Their operations emphasize reliability, schedule control, and long-term client relationships built on consistent project delivery.They are seeking an experienced finance and accounting leader to support the Houston business unit. This role will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, supporting executive decision-making through data analysis, and ensuring strong fiscal processes are maintained across the organization. The position will work closely with operational leadership to manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance while supporting cross-team collaboration and business process improvement.Key Responsibilities:Analyze financial data and advise senior leadership on strategic decisions related to organizational performance and future planningEnsure strong fiscal and business procedures are maintained across the organization while continually improving cross-team processesManage all accounting and finance transactions for the Houston business unitPrepare the annual operating budget and periodic forecast updates in collaboration with Houston leadershipTrack actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts on a monthly basisOversee approval of cash disbursements for the Houston operationProvide oversight and leadership for the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams Serve as the primary accounting resource for operations and finance personnel regarding ERP system usage and supportQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required; CPA or MBA preferred xijylhu 8+ years of experience in finance and accounting, including at least 3 years of supervisory experience2+ years of construction accounting experience using the percentage completion methodStrong knowledge of GAAP accounting principlesExperience with Oracle JD Edwards preferredStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsAdvanced computer proficiency including strong Microsoft Excel skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail with the ability to also understand broader business objectivesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills
