Position OverviewOur clients look to SPC to provide them with a well-managed construction process from pre- construction through project closeout. As a Project Manager, it is your responsibility to ensure we create long-term client relationships with industry leading companies.You will drive the progress of each project from inception through completion by leading and inspiring your team and partners to provide unparalleled customer service. This position is your opportunity to shine and if you are a natural leader, you will be on the career path to becoming a Sr. Project Manager and then, a Project Executive with the SPC team.Key Qualifications Solid understanding of building systems and processes with experience on high-end commercial interiors and commercial building renovation. Ownership in planning, coordination, and execution of projects from pre-construction, construction, close out, and post-construction servicesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction from Senior ManagementWork collaboratively with project team members (i.e. Client, CM, Architect, Engineers, Landlord, etc.)Experience in preparing detailed cost estimates from conceptual or schematic level documentationLead members of the team in the pre-construction process and the formal presentation to clientAbility to take accountability for quality, financial, and project schedule goals of the end productContinually work at the development and coaching of the project staffControl the productive output and policy adherence to company and project of the project staffDescriptionManagement of commercial construction projects including Corporate Headquarters, Creative Office Space, and Building Renovation projects within our areas of focus: Studio/Entertainment, Advertising/Media, Financial Services, Hospitality, Law & Accounting Firms, Technology, Luxury Retail, Adaptive Reuse, and Health Care. Our Project Managers are ultimately responsible for the overall management, execution, and outcomes of the following segments of a project: Pre-Construction I Project Administration I Scheduling I Constructability & Technical I OAC & Site Meetings Talents and TraitsFlexibility and nimbleness to manage multiple tasks and projectsUrgency and resourcefulness with problem identification and resolutionEstablishes and maintains a positive working relationship with project team members (Client, CM, Architect, Consulting Engineers, Landlords, etc.) resulting in long term relationships and repeat businessProficient in Microsoft 365 products (including Project), PlanGrid, Bluebeam, Adobe and Procore productivity software. Compensation in other cities may vary.
