The Construction Project Manager - Facilities is responsible for the strategic planning, management, and execution of facility construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects across the organization. This role ensures all projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and operational objectives.A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.The Project Manager partners with internal stakeholders"”including Facilities, Engineering, Operations, IT, and EHS"”as well as external design and construction firms to manage projects supporting manufacturing, technical, and corporate office environments. This role requires strong leadership, financial oversight, and technical expertise to deliver mission-critical projects while minimizing disruption to core business activities.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & ExecutionManage the full lifecycle of facility projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.Develop project scopes, detailed schedules, budgets, and execution strategies aligned with organizational priorities.Coordinate with internal departments to define technical and operational requirements.Ensure all construction activities are phased to minimize impact on production and daily operations.Facilitate all necessary permitting and regulatory approvals with relevant agencies.Capital Project ManagementOversee capital improvement projects, including facility expansions, infrastructure upgrades, specialized laboratory/technical buildouts, and workplace renovations.Track project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to ensure strict adherence to approved capital allocations.Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including business justifications, funding requests, and financial reporting.Implement robust cost controls and change management processes to maintain fiscal discipline.Required QualificationsExperience: 10-15 years of experience managing commercial construction or facility infrastructure projects.Environment: Proven experience working in complex, highly regulated, or mission-critical industrial environments.Technical Knowledge: * Deep understanding of commercial and industrial construction practices.Experience managing infrastructure projects such as MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems, technical/lab buildouts, and facility reconfigurations.Ability to interpret complex construction drawings, specifications, and engineering documents.Tools & Systems: Proficiency with project management and construction technology (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Primavera, Bluebeam, or AutoCAD/BIM). xijylhu Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.Preferred CertificationsProject Management Professional (PMP)OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety CertificationProfessional Engineer (PE) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
