This role owns the estimate from first review through handoff and plays a key role in winning future projects.What You'll DoLead the full estimating process on large heavy civil bidsReview plans, specs, reports, and site conditionsDevelop detailed cost estimates for earthwork, utilities, materials, labor, equipment, and truckingAnalyze subcontractor and supplier pricing and select best-value optionsIdentify risks (soil, groundwater, logistics, schedule) and build mitigation strategiesCollaborate closely with operations and project teams to align means and methodsSupport bid strategy, value engineering, and post-award handoffWhat We're Looking For7+ years estimating heavy xijylhu civil projectsStrong experience with mass earthwork, utilities and earthworkBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experienceProficiency with HCSS HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and MS OfficeAGTEK and P6 experience preferredStrong commercial judgment, communication, and leadership skills
