Premium West Inc. specializes in projects ranging from ground-up, tenant improvements, and on-call service contracting.Any additional information you require for this job can be found in the below text Make sure to read thoroughly, then apply.Role DescriptionPremium West, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent specializing in Tenant Improvement (TI) projects to lead field operations for fast-paced commercial interior build-outs. This role requires strong leadership, proactive trade coordination, and proven experience working in occupied environments under aggressive schedules. The position is well suited for a Superintendent who thrives in a hands-on role and is seeking to primarily work within the San Diego and Orange County markets.The Superintendent will oversee a diverse portfolio of TI project types, including national retail brands, restaurants ranging from local operators to quick-service chains, grocery outlets, medical and clinical offices, automotive dealerships, and professional office spaces. Projects often run concurrently and demand a high level of organization, communication, and accountability.The ideal candidate brings deep field experience within their core trade, paired with an entrepreneurial mindset. This individual will play a key role in helping establish structure, workflows, and on-site protocols as Premium West continues to build and scale its Tenant Improvement division. Strong multitasking abilities and clear communication are essential, as the Superintendent will regularly interface with clients, project executives, project managers, and internal operations teams to ensure seamless execution.Premium West takes pride in its ability to self-perform multiple trades. In addition to managing subcontractors, the TI Superintendent may coordinate closely with Premium West Concrete, Premium West Electric, and our in-house finish carpentry crews to accelerate schedules, resolve field issues, and maintain quality control. The Superintendent is also expected to contribute trusted subcontractor relationships and recommendations to support consistent, high-performing project delivery across current and future TI work. xijylhu Responsibilities & QualificationsManage all on-site construction activities for Tenant Improvement projectsWork closely alongside assigned Project Manager to build and maintain accurate project schedulesCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and material deliveriesMaintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and organizationEnforce quality control and ensure work meets project plans and specificationsCoordinate work in occupied buildings, including phased, night, or weekend work when applicableServe as the primary on-site point of contact for owners, tenants, and inspectorsLead jobsite meetings and daily reportingDrive projects to on-time and on-budget completionOversee multiple TI projects concurrently while maintaining schedule, quality, and safety standards across all sitesCoordinate closely with Premium West's self-perform teams (Concrete, Electrical, and in-house Finish Carpentry) to accelerate schedules and resolve field conflictsProactively identify constructability issues, sequencing challenges, and risk items, and implement solutions in real timeEnforce company standards for field documentation, daily logs, safety reporting, and jobsite protocolsAssist in developing and refining TI-specific workflows, field processes, and best practices as the division growsSupport preconstruction efforts by providing schedule input, logistics planning, and constructability feedback when requiredBuild and maintain strong working relationships with inspectors, building management, vendors, and repeat clientsDevelop a trusted subcontractor base to support long-term TI execution and scalabilityCompensation & Benefits• Base Salary: $125,000 - $200,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications• Vehicle Allowance: Monthly vehicle stipend plus company-provided gas card• Retirement Plan: 401(k) with 3% company match• Health Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage• Paid Time Off: Generous PTO and sick leave policyWe are committed to supporting our team both professionally and personally through a strong benefits platform and a culture that values performance, accountability, and long-term development.
