Construction Superintendent

The Superintendent oversees all field activities on construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. This role leads site operations, coordinates subcontractors and suppliers, and serves as the primary on-site representative for the project team.Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.The ideal candidate for this role is someone that has worked on highly technical projects; hospitals, semiconductor, clean room, pharma, chemical plants. This role will cover both the Lehigh Valley and NJ areas.Key Responsibilities:Direct field operations and align daily work with project goals and schedules.Supervise and mentor field staff, promoting teamwork, accountability, and safety.Coordinate subcontractor activities, scheduling, logistics, and quality assurance.Enforce all safety regulations and conduct regular site inspections.Communicate daily with project management regarding progress, manpower, and schedule impacts.Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, inspections, and incident logs.Manage on-site pricing for scope changes and assist with schedule and progress updates.Ensure compliance with contracts, drawings, codes, and permits.Foster strong relationships with clients, design teams, and trade partners.Qualifications:Minimum 10 years of experience supervising commercial construction field operations.Strong understanding of construction processes, means and methods, and safety procedures.OSHA 30-hour certification (or ability to obtain within required timeframe).Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. xijylhu Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite.
