About the CompanyAll potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.Well established and respected Virginia based regional heavy civil contractor is in the hunt for a CIVIL SUPERINTENDENT to lead the charge and manage heavy highway construction projects.Responsibilities will include:Oversee and manage crews and subcontractors.Assist in planning tasks safely.Assist with layout and inspection.Work with the General Superintendent and Project Manager to develop the look ahead schedule.Participate in other tasks as needed.QualificationsTo be considered for this exceptional opportunity candidates must possess at least 8 years of experience in heavy highway construction with at least 3 years managing crews.Required SkillsExperience to include: excavation, grading and utilities.Preferred SkillsExperience with bridgework, MSE Walls, structural concrete and pile driving is a plus. xijylhu Pay range and compensation packageSix figure base salary, use of company provided truck, health insurance benefits, PTO, profit sharing and more.
