Your new companyJoin a respected Seattle based foundation as a Chief Building Engineer and be a part of giving back to the community by overseeing a real estate portfolio based out of downtown Seattle, WA.Not sure what skills you will need for this opportunity Simply read the full description below to get a complete picture of candidate requirements.Your new roleAs Chief Building Engineer, you'll lead the engineering team in managing a circa 500k SF office portfolio across 18 buildings, including circa 65 residential units.Key responsibilities:Oversee daily operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire/life safety, and automation systemsManage and prioritize all work orders and service requestsCoordinate vendors, review bids, and support construction and improvement projectsRun preventative maintenance programsSupport property management with building security and proceduresReview maintenance invoices and manage suppliesAssist with budgets and capital planningParticipate in the on"‘call rotationIdentify efficiency and cost"‘saving opportunitiesRecord and report monthly utility meter readingsWhat you'll need to succeed10+ years of building maintenance experience, including 5+ years in leadershipStrong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)Proficiency with Microsoft Office07 Electrical LicenseStrong communication skills and ability to work with tenants, vendors, and team membersAbility to safely use tools and handle physical aspects of the roleWhat you'll get in returnA stable role within a well ran Real Estate firm who offer the chance to be a part of a small "family style" culture.
