The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including analyzing project requirements, performing quantity takeoffs, and soliciting subcontractor and supplier pricing. The role involves collaborating with project managers and other team members to ensure competitive and comprehensive bids. This individual will attend pre-bid meetings, periodic reviews and site visits, as needed. Additionally, the Senior Estimator will assist in developing strategies to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness in project planning and execution.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.Minimum of 5 years experience in the commercial and industrial construction sectors.Proven expertise in cost estimation, quantity takeoffs, and budget preparation for construction projects.Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.Prepare and handle Requests for Information (RFIs) as needed.Maintain and build strong relationships with clients and follow up on submitted bids.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify project risks and opportunities.Experience with Bluebeam, Viewpoint (Trimble) Software and other computer-aided design tools is a plus. xijylhu Effective team collaboration and exceptional communication skills are a must.Benefits:Salary negotiable based upon experience401K Retirement Plan w/ Company Matching100% Employer Paid Health Insurance - 0% Employee ContributionPaid Vacation Paid HolidaysTuition reimbursement programs available to qualifying employees for approved programsCompany Vehicle/Mileage ReimbursementAnnual Bonus Commensurate with Performance
