Senior Estimator

Position SummaryThe Senior Estimator plays a key leadership role in the preconstruction or planning phase, responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for projects. This role works closely with clients, internal teams, and leadership to establish budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support successful project acquisition and execution.Making sure you fit the guidelines as an applicant for this role is essential, please read the below carefully.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development of conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, and competitive proposalsPerform quantity takeoffs, pricing, and cost analysis for labor, materials, and equipmentReview drawings, specifications, and project documentation to prepare comprehensive estimatesIdentify project risks, gaps, and value engineering opportunitiesSolicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals for accuracy and completenessCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and operational teams during planning and handoff phasesBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partnersParticipate in project meetings, site visits, and scope reviews as neededSupport the development and improvement of estimating tools, systems, and processesMentor junior staff and contribute to team developmentQualificationsSeveral years of experience in estimating, cost analysis, or a related fieldStrong understanding of project workflows, cost drivers, and resource planningProficiency in estimating software and standard business toolsAbility to interpret technical documents, drawings, and specificationsStrong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and xijylhu meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experienceExperience with collaborative project delivery methods is a plusFamiliarity with digital modeling or coordination tools is beneficialPrior experience mentoring or leading team members is preferredBenefitsCompetitive compensation based on experienceHealth and wellness benefitsPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional growth and development
