Ideal candidates have experience in architectural product sales, a strong understanding of design and materials, and a passion for collaborating on high-end projects.Essential Job FunctionsArchitect & Designer EngagementDevelop relationships with architects, designers, and developers to showcase company capabilities.Lead design consultations, lunch-and-learns, and product presentations.Collaborate with design teams to integrate products into early-stage architectural plans and project specifications.Construction & Contractor CollaborationEnsure company is prequalified with general contractors and developers to secure commercial project opportunities.Work with pre-construction and estimating teams to integrate solutions into bids and support execution.Partner with subcontractors and installers to ensure technical feasibility and proper installation.Sales & Market DevelopmentIdentify and track high-value project opportunities through networking, CRM management, and industry research.Develop custom proposals and pricing structures, guiding clients through long sales cycles involving design, engineering, and fabrication.Represent the company at industry trade shows, networking events, and panel discussions to build brand awareness.Strategy & Market PositioningMonitor competitor activity, market trends, and client feedback to refine sales approach.Develop and execute a territory growth strategy to expand market reach.Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in architectural product sales, facade systems, decorative metals, or design-focused building solutions.Strong background in architectural specification sales, with experience working alongside design teams to secure product inclusion in early-stage plans.Experience managing long sales cycles and high-value commercial projects.Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, CAD files, and construction specifications.Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing client relationships and tracking opportunities. xijylhu Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Design, Sales, or a related field preferred.
