Senior Superintendent - Multifamily Construction San Diego, CAWe are seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee ground-up multifamily construction projects in the San Diego market. This individual will take full ownership of onsite operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Increase your chances of an interview by reading the following overview of this role before making an application. ResponsibilitiesLead all field operations from groundbreaking through project completionManage and enforce the construction schedule, including 3-week lookaheadsSupervise and coordinate all subcontractors and field personnelEnsure strict adherence to safety standards and OSHA complianceConduct daily site walks, QA/QC inspections, and enforce quality standardsCoordinate inspections, permits, and local jurisdiction requirementsPartner with Project Management on RFIs, submittals, budgets, and change ordersLead weekly subcontractor and coordination meetingsOversee site logistics, sequencing, and trade coordinationManage punch list, turnover, and Certificate of Occupancy (CO) process Qualifications8-15+ years of construction experience5+ years as a Lead or Senior Superintendent on multifamily projectsProven experience delivering ground-up multifamily developments ($20M+)Strong knowledge of wood-frame, podium, or concrete constructionAbility to manage multiple trades and maintain xijylhu aggressive schedules PreferredOSHA 30 CertificationExperience with Procore or similar construction management softwareExperience with large-scale multifamily (250+ units) About the RoleThis is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has successfully taken multifamily projects from dirt to Certificate of Occupancy.
