DescriptionThe NYSTEC Don Hanson Internship Program offers students the opportunity to work alongside NYSTEC professionals to apply academic knowledge in a real-world consulting environment. You will gain exposure to the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) framework and will contribute to a consulting industry research project.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide analytical, reporting, research, and coordinationSupport efforts to improve project execution, cross-team coordination, and operational efficiencyAssist in enhancing project visibility and tracking across initiativesParticipate in internal and client-facing meetings and help prepare reports and presentationsLearn and apply NYSTEC tools and processes while collaborating with internal and external partnersRequired QualificationsBasic research skills and reporting skillsExperience with coordinating projectsExperience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)Interest in digital literacy, including understanding and using AI tools effectivelyPreferred QualificationsExperience with Microsoft CopilotEducation and ExperienceThis program seeks graduate students with excellent leadership potential. We look for diverse educational and professional experience.Must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in public policy, public administration, public health, or a related field.The NYSTEC Don Hanson Internship Program for summer 2026 will run from May 18 - August 7. The typical schedule will be during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Specific hours can be negotiated based on the intern's availability.
