Electrical Estimator

Growing commercial electrical contractor, in Irvine, CA is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support their expanding project pipeline. The Electrical Estimator will support the estimating team in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously. This role reports directly to the Head of Estimating and plays a key part in preparing bids, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring all project documentation is accurate and well-organized.If you think you are the right match for the following opportunity, apply after reading the complete description.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze blueprints and drawings for accuracy and completenessPerform takeoffs, layouts, and markups to determine bid quantitiesQuantify fixtures, devices, equipment, and power requirementsSupport bid efforts and assist in compiling pricingUtilize takeoff software to generate counts and measurementsTrack and manage bid invitations and assist in prioritizing the pipelineCoordinate with suppliers by sending drawings and organizing incoming quotesMaintain accurate documentation and organized filing systemsManage a high volume of incoming emails and project updates dailyTrack xijylhu multiple active projects and ensure all details are up to dateRequirementsExperience with Bluebeam (required)Strong Excel skillsEstimating and costing experience (highly preferred)Background in electrical or constructionHigh school diploma required
