This opportunity offers hands-on involvement in transforming a broad range of commercial real estate assets, with exposure to retail, residential, and mixed-use projects. As an Architect, you will play a pivotal role in bringing new vision to life by supporting projects from concept through construction, collaborating closely with internal teams and industry consultants in an innovative and growth-driven environment.Responsibilities:Support the design and development of commercial architectural projects, including retail, with exposure to residential and mixed-use properties.Prepare architectural drawings, design documents, and comprehensive construction sets for permitting and execution.Coordinate with MEP, structural, civil, and landscape consultants and review their documents for accuracy and alignment.Assist with feasibility studies, space planning, test fits, and site evaluations to ensure design viability.Support all project phases, including schematic design, design development, and construction administration.Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs, and assist with timely responses as needed.Participate in site visits and punch walks to monitor construction progress and ensure quality standards are met.Ensure compliance with zoning, building codes, accessibility standards, and local regulations throughout all projects.Maintain adherence to company standards, design guidelines, and operational requirements across deliverables.Assist in supporting project schedules, budgets, and ensuring effective document control.Must-Have Skills:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.3+ years of professional architectural experienceActive California Architectural License (RA) is required.Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit for preparation of construction documents.Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, and construction documentation.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.Physical ability to perform site visits, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.Nice-to-Have Skills:Experience with retail architectural projects preferred.Background working on residential or mixed-use developments.Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for enhanced design presentations.Experience conducting feasibility studies and site evaluations. xijylhu Demonstrated ability to maintain document control and support project schedules and budgets.
