Superintendent - Healthcare ConstructionIncrease your chances of reaching the interview stage by reading the complete job description and applying promptly.Phoenix, AZ (Travel Opportunities) | Full-Time | Leading National General ContractorWe are partnered with a top-tier General Contractor specializing in complex healthcare construction, looking to appoint an experienced Superintendent to lead ground-up hospital and medical facility projects ($50M-$100M+).This is an opportunity to join a builder with a strong reputation for delivering technically demanding healthcare projects, backed by a culture focused on safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.The OpportunityAs Superintendent, you will act as the on-site leader and primary point of contact, responsible for driving successful project delivery across safety, schedule, quality, and subcontractor coordination.You will be heavily involved from preconstruction through completion, working on projects where MEP coordination, compliance, and sequencing are critical.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day site operations on ground-up healthcare projectsOversee hospital and medical facility construction ($50M+)Contribute during preconstruction (buyout, logistics, scheduling)Drive CPM schedules (P6 preferred) and short-term planningCoordinate and manage subcontractors and trade partnersImplement Lean construction practices / Last Planner System (LPS)Oversee QA/QC programs and inspectionsManage RFIs, submittals, and field documentationMonitor project costs, WIP, and payment processesLead site meetings and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationshipsEnforce EH&S standards and promote an Injury-Free EnvironmentRequirements7-10+ years of Superintendent experience in ground-up commercial constructionProven experience delivering healthcare or hospital projectsStrong understanding of MEP systems and complex building environmentsExperience leading xijylhu large-scale projects ($50M-$100M+)Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, CMiC, etc.)Scheduling experience (P6 preferred)Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsWhat's on OfferCompetitive compensation + bonus potentialIndustry-leading healthcare coverage (100% employee premium)Immediate 401(k) contributionsProfit sharing opportunitiesClear career progression and leadership development programsAdditional benefits including volunteer time off (VTO) and wellness supportCollaborative culture focused on safety, quality, and innovation
