DEFINITIONPerforms a multitude of office and field activities required to progress the construction of heavy civil construction projects within the greater Seattle metropolitan area.Not sure what skills you will need for this opportunity Simply read the full description below to get a complete picture of candidate requirements.EXAMPLES OF IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES· Monitor costs of each job · Prepare progress billings and subcontractor pay estimates· Quantity tracking of material and completed work· Assist in development and monitoring of project schedule· Understand, prepare, and transmit submittals on behalf of KLB and subcontractors and or suppliers· Maintain project files· Assist in coordination with subcontractors and or prime contractor· Maintain daily project diary· Assist in procurement of project materials· Assist in the supervising of crews and monitor for safety on the job site· Prepare necessary correspondence to Owners/Primes/Subs as necessary· Assist with daily payroll submittals to the main officeOTHER JOB RELATED DUTIES· Assist in the preparation of estimates and budgets for new projectsJOB RELATED AND ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of:· Modern office procedures, methods and computer equipment· Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and scheduling software systems· Principles and procedures of record keeping· Principles and procedures used in dealing with public· Basic English usage, spelling, vocabulary, grammar, and punctuation· Basic mathematical principles· Safe driving principles and practicesABILITY TO· Plan and prioritize multiple tasks to adapt and adhere to schedules and deadlines· Work independently in the absence of supervision· Prepare and maintain accurate and complete records including clear and concise daily reports· Respond to requests and inquiries from project stakeholders and KLB employees· Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing· Establish, maintain, and foster positive and harmonious working relationships with project stakeholders and KLB employeesEXPERIENCE AND TRAINING GUIDELINESExperience: Minimum of 3 years Heavy Highway experience preferredDegree: BA in Construction Management, BS in Engineering or Construction Engineering, or equivalent experienceLicense: Possession of, or ability to obtain an appropriate, valid WA driver's license with acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insuranceCOMPENSATIONSalary DOE, $85,000-$115,000Excellent medical, dental, vision and 401k benefitsCompany Pickup Truck and Fuel CardBonus ProgramEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER STATEMENTWe are committed to the equal treatment of all employees and applicants for employment. xijylhu We prohibit discrimination based on race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, color, age, disability, national origin, covered veteran status, genetic information, or any other classification protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws.
