This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineering professional with expertise in dam design and analysis to contribute to complex water resources and infrastructure projects.The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions, leading projects, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support dam safety and design initiatives.What's on OfferHybrid (in-person and remote) work environmentMedical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance401(k) with company contributionsGenerous paid time off (PTO)Parental leave and wellness programsPet insuranceTuition reimbursement and professional development supportAccess to internal and external training programsIncentive compensation for eligible rolesKey ResponsibilitiesDesign and analyze dam embankments and flood control structures, focusing on seepage, slope stability, and dam safety.Perform structural design of reinforced concrete hydraulic structures such as spillways, outlet works, and stilling basins.Apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges and site-specific conditions.Contribute to the development of project design criteria and technical approaches.Lead the execution and coordination of complex engineering assignments.Support proposal development and act as a technical specialist when required.Manage multidisciplinary project teams and oversee project delivery.Serve in roles such as Project Manager, Client Manager, or Proposal Manager as needed.Conduct QA/QC reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.Collaborate with clients to ensure satisfaction and support business development efforts.Prepare technical reports, design documents, drawings, and specifications.Provide construction-phase support and guidance to field teams.Assist in preparing cost estimates and engineering proposals.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering.Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain.5-10+ years of experience in dam, water resources, or mining projects.Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.Field experience in geotechnical investigations and construction activities.Strong analytical, technical writing, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.Experience with GeoStudio.MSHA certification.Prior experience supervising staff.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or BC.EE certification.Why JoinThis is an opportunity to contribute to high-impact dam and water infrastructure projects while advancing your career within a well-established and growing engineering organization.
