This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while working with minimal supervision.Apply now, read the job details by scrolling down Double check you have the necessary skills before sending an application.What You'll DoSafety LeadershipLead the promotion and enforcement of company and project safety protocolsEnsure compliance with OSHA and internal safety standardsReview and oversee all safety-critical activities including excavation, rigging, trenching, hot work, and traffic controlVerify accurate and current utility locates prior to excavationQuality AssuranceEnsure all work meets project specifications and quality standardsReview and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications throughout the project lifecycleManage RFIs, submittals, and all project documentationServe as the primary point of contact for client communicationsOversee document control, redlines, and project filesProject EfficiencyCoordinate schedules, subcontractors, and suppliersOptimize construction sequencing and executionLead daily project meetings and resolve issues proactivelyUtilize tools such as SiteDocs, Bluebeam, B2W, Viewpoint, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and scheduling softwarePlanning & ProductionDevelop and maintain master project schedulesManage project handoff and short-term planning (two-week lookaheads)Coordinate site logistics including trailers, utilities, security, and servicesCost & Budget ManagementTrack job costs, forecasts, and cash flowManage billing, invoices, and change ordersReview and approve purchase orders and subcontractsMaintain cost projections and risk/opportunity trackingEnsure accurate daily field reporting for labor, equipment, and productionBusiness DevelopmentBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsProvide regular project updates to leadership and stakeholdersTeam LeadershipMentor and develop Project EngineersSupport hiring, coaching, and performance managementContribute to continuous improvement initiativesWhat We're Looking ForExperience managing projects valued between $40M-$60M xijylhu 7+ years of experience in civil constructionMinimum 5 years of experience in heavy civil constructionMinimum 3 years of experience in dry utilities (underground utility construction, including electrical utilities for municipalities, cities, and infrastructure development)Minimum 3 years of experience in earthwork in combination with heavy civil constructionStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsExperience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost controlAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in construction management software toolsWhy Join?Opportunities for career growth and advancementExposure to high-impact, large-scale infrastructure projectsCollaborative and team-oriented environmentCompetitive compensation and benefits
