The ideal candidate is part of a team responsible for coordinating the complete construction and administrative requirements of the various millwork projects. The Project Engineer will interface with Purchasing, Shop Manager, Superintendent/Foremen, Project Managers, Subcontractors and Client Representatives to ensure a high-quality final project is delivered on time, on budget, according to specifications (including safety guidelines).ResponsibilitiesReviews project specs and maintain reports and documentation.Supports scheduling, budgeting, and planning in meetings with supervisors.Coordinates professionally with project teams and helps resolve issues.Tracks submittals, RFIs, change orders, and approvals.Handles subcontractor requisitions, invoice reviews, and payment tracking.Assists with billing, cost monitoring, and monthly financial projections.Helps manage and schedule subcontractors and vendors.Follows company procedures and policies.Please read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates.QualificationsBachelor's degree in architecture, Construction Management, or related field; 1 year of experience preferred.Strong attention to detail, sound decision"‘making under pressure, and ability to manage stress and shifting priorities.Works independently, communicates clearly in English, and can write reports and present information effectively.Skilled in problem"‘solving, interpreting technical documents, and understanding plans, specifications, and mathematical concepts.Willing to work additional hours and comply with confidentiality, drug testing, and background checks.Proficient with computers, MS Office, scheduling tools (Primavera/MS Project), project management software (e.g., Procore), and able to review drawings in AutoCAD/BlueBeam.Familiar with millwork materials, construction methods, and basic financial concepts like cost and productivity.English/Spanish bilingual preferred.Physical Requirements & Work EnvironmentThe role requires frequent use of full vision (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment) and occasional physical activities such as walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and smelling. Work may occasionally take place outdoors or near moving mechanical parts, with exposure to vibration, loud noise, fumes, particulates, chemicals, and electrical hazards on shop or job sites.
