In order to make an application, simply read through the following job description and make sure to attach relevant documents.The RoleReporting to the project Vice President, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for the management of a single large project, or multiple smaller projects. The SPM manages projects from the inception of the budget phase, through preconstruction, and into construction. Additionally, the SPM is responsible for budget, schedule and quality, managing the Owner contract, and mentoring of the project team. The Senior Project Manager is the primary point of contact with our clients. The SPM participates in Owner Meetings, Design Meetings, and Staff Meetings, ultimately managing the project's success.Your key responsibilities will include:Managing profitability, staff development and client relations for positive results, in tandem with the superintendentOverseeing and administering one or more construction projects at a timeConducting constructability reviews, taking advantage of your problem-solving abilitiesRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Construction, Architecture, or Engineering preferred, but experience will be considered in lieu of educationAt least 10 years of commercial construction industry experience, with at least 6 of those years in project management, including managing large projects of $35 million or moreTechnical knowledge of building components and systemsA solid understanding of the construction management process including estimating, budget control, scheduling, quality management, safety management, procurement, and contract administrationThe ability to assemble the right team to address and solve issues effectivelyThorough knowledge of procedures (subcontracts, change orders, submittals, RFIs and close-out)Excellent verbal and written communications skillsAn aptitude for mentoring and trainingExperience with BIM and LEEDMATT Benefits Include:Monthly auto allowance and gas cardYearly Bonus/Deferred Compensation eligibleRobust and affordable insurance plan options401(k) with matchingEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Paid Time OffEducation reimbursementStudent Loan paydown planMATT Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
