Sr. Project EngineerIs this your next job Read the full description below to find out, and do not hesitate to make an application.Position Title: Senior Project Engineer Department: Operations/Project Management Reports to: President/Chairman/Chief Operating Officer/VP Operations/Project Director/Project Manager Direct Reports: Project Engineer Intern, Project Engineer Summary Description: This position serves as support for operations on the jobs in which they are involved. Responsibilities range from participation in initial project set up and buyout, cost spread/estimate familiarity, job quantity tracking, on-site daily activity involvement, concrete material tracking, equipment and manpower productivity tracking, invoice approval, extra work ticket tracking, participation in job cost reporting, project safety compliance, quality control compliance, production analysis/tracking.Specific Responsibilities:Participate in Contract/scope reviewProject safety complianceJob cost spread and estimateProject sequencing and schedulingProject quantity/progress trackingProduction analysis/trackingProject cost reportingInvoice coding and approvalMaterial/equipment procurementChange order request issuance/trackingParticipate in Change Order estimate pricingCoordination with GC/OwnerCoordination with CSI Operations manager regarding manpower/resourcesMentoring of younger Project EngineersJob Specific Competencies/behaviors:Communicates well both verbally and in writing, creates accurate and punctual reports, delivers presentations, shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skillsAbility to identify, assimilate and comprehend the critical elements of a situation to extract and interpret implications of courses of actions to attend to details of a problem.
