As a full-service provider, Marathon offers consulting, space planning, design, construction, budget management, and operational program development.We are seeking a motivated, experienced On-Field Assistant Project Manager to work with our Project Management Team. This is a Full-Time On-site position in the Providence/West Warwick, RI Area. Job Responsibilities:Collaboration with Project Manager in estimating, and bidding potential projectsAssist in maintaining project schedules across multiple projectsPreparing contracts, submittals, potential change orders, and AIA requisitionsCommunicating with clients, subcontractors, inspectors, and architectsCreating purchase orders for vendor material purchasesProcuring, and ensuring validity of certificates of insurance, and W9s from subcontractorsCoordinating weekly project meetings with key stakeholdersPreparing weekly meeting minutes for Project Manager reviewPerform additional assignments per supervisor's directionManagement of Jobs within ProCoreQualifications:Candidates must have a minimum of 1 years' experience in the fieldA bachelors from an accredited College or University a plus, but xijylhu not requiredExperience with Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, or ProCoreFamiliarity with AIA contract, and requisition templatesAbility to read architectural plans, and specificationsConstruction project accounting experience a plusSuperior communications skills both digitally, and in personHigh attention to detailExcellent follow up skills, and determinationThe right person will have a positive, team-oriented attitude, and a desire to learn new skills and conquer new challenges
