This leader will be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy and overseeing multiple sales teams across both residential and commercial business segments.Key Responsibilities Revenue Growth & StrategyBuild and communicate a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve company revenue targets.Clearly identify, track, and adapt marketing spend to optimize lead flow.Adapt strategy to account for seasonality and market challenges to ensure consistent target attainment.Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress against revenue goals.Partner cross-functionally with marketing and operations to align lead flow, sales capacity, and execution.Evaluate and refine pricing, promotions, and competitive positioning to maximize conversion and profitability.Team Leadership & DevelopmentIdentify, recruit, and onboard high-performing sales consultants aligned with company values and goals.Develop and maintain a structured sales training program with a consistent cadence to drive performance and team cohesion.Unify multiple sales teams under a single culture of accountability and excellence.Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions to improve individual and team performance.Set clear performance expectations and maintain consistent feedback and accountability practices.Create career development pathways to support retention and internal advancement.Pipeline Performance ManagementApply sales funnel metrics to establish targets, refine expectations, and communicate performance standards.Hold sales consultants accountable to performance goals, addressing underperformance through coaching or corrective action.Ensure accurate and timely CRM updates across the sales team.Monitor and analyze pipeline metrics to identify bottlenecks and improve conversion rates.Implement and enforce standardized sales processes across all teams.Deliver accurate and timely sales forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities for leadership.Customer & Market AlignmentDefine and communicate target customer profiles and align sales and marketing efforts accordingly.Anticipate market changes and proactively recommend strategic adjustments to leadership.Ensure sales messaging is consistent, accurate, and aligned with company brand and value proposition.Incorporate customer feedback to continuously improve the sales approach and overall customer experience.Monitor competitor activity and market trends to maintain a strong competitive position.Required Qualifications:5+ years in sales management, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or adjacent home servicesDemonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive sales strategiesDemonstrated success in developing and executing on creative marketing campaigns, establishing partnerships, evaluating performance, and adapting.An intimate understanding of the New England market; can clearly identify the company's customer demographics, where they frequent, and what they care about.Demonstrated success with identifying and securing partnership opportunities that have yielded success.Proven track record of driving revenue growth and business expansionKnowledge of solar industry trends, technologies and regulationsStrong background in sales, market analysis, software solutions, and business developmentExcellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving objectivesBachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in SalesforceProven experience in project management, negotiation, strategic planning, and customer relationship managementStrong understanding of marketing automation platforms and tools. xijylhu MBA or advanced degree in a related field preferred.BenefitsPaid PTOHealth Insurance401K
