Role Description The Lead Estimator position at Corcon is a full-time, on-site role based in Garden City, NY. The Lead Estimator will oversee the preparation of accurate cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documentation. Daily responsibilities include developing bid strategies, sourcing and evaluating vendor and subcontractor quotes, managing budgets, collaborating with project managers, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to construction estimates. Qualifications Proficiency in preparing detailed construction cost estimates, material takeoffs, and scope-of-work documents.Experience working with estimating software, financial tools, and advanced knowledge of construction methods and cost estimation techniques.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.Excellent communication, negotiation, and teamwork abilities for collaborating with clients, project managers, and subcontractors.Familiarity with construction codes, regulations, and safety requirements.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). xijylhu Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably with leadership responsibilities.
