You will work closely with our business development, construction operations, and expert witness teams to develop accurate, well-documented estimates that withstand legal scrutiny. The ideal candidate understands existing conditions, causation-based repairs, and documentation standards required in litigation environments.Key Responsibilities:Review property damage claims that are in litigation or disputePrepare detailed repair estimates Analyze contractor bids, invoices, expert reports, and opposing estimates for accuracy and scopeIdentify pricing discrepancies, scope differences, and code-related issuesProvide written estimate summaries and damage evaluations to support legal strategyCollaborate with attorneys, claims professionals, and expertsRespond to discovery requests related to repair costs and estimating methodologyAssist with depositions, mediations, and settlement discussions by explaining estimates and cost driversEnsure estimates comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standardsMaintain organized documentation and estimate files for litigation readinessSkills and Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting litigation, insurance, or expert testimony mattersProficient in mathematics, xijylhu including basic arithmetic, algebra, and geometryAdvanced knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction disciplinesExpertise in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Word and ExcelExcellent typing skills and ability to read and interpret plans and specificationsStrong interpersonal and written communication abilitiesHighly detail-oriented and organizedA positive, proactive attitude and enthusiasm for new challenges and initiativesAdditional Information:Job Type: Full-time
