Find your future with us.Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking Test & Evaluation Engineers to join our team in Seattle, WA.In this role you will develop cost"‘effective verification and validation test methods by collaborating with program teams to define detailed test requirements, procedures, instrumentation, and configuration definitions; apply analytical tools to verify designs; analyze, process, and format test data to meet customer needs; mentor and train team members; and proactively minimize test risk while working under general direction.Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, Experienced and Senior Level Test & Evaluation Engineers.Position Responsibilities:Lead execution of Test Program Management best practicesPartners with airplane design engineering counterparts to co-lead the development of test requirementsWorks cross-functionally to support BT&E Lab/Flight Test NW program/project plan and integrate with key stakeholders.Leads Cost-Effective Verification and Validation methodsApplies lessons learned to the improvement of test proceduresGuides teams that design test hardware, software and systems to achieve test program objectivesProvides oversight on Test Program deliverables to customerDevelop baselines and manage change to Statement Of Work, Requirements, Cost, Schedule, Risk/Issues/Opportunities, and Supply ChainLead development and approval of Estimates/ProposalsManage communications of plan and performance to plan across stakeholder teams and up-and-out with stakeholder leadershipFacilitate battle-rhythm with execution teams to drive performance to planSupport and contribute to leadership strategy and business operations for Lab/Flight Test NWIs proactive, works under minimal direction and trains othersBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statementWilling to travel domestically as needed5+ years of experience working in an engineering environmentProject management (technical, schedule, and financial)Airplane or airplane parts/system level product integrationPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceLevel 4: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceBusiness acumen and understandingEarned Value Management (EVM)Experience working through the life cycle of a product from concept to deliveryWorking level knowledge of airplane, airplane parts/systems; one or more of the following - aerodynamics, structures, navigation, flight controls, engines, electrical power, cabin systems and interiors, hydraulics, fuels etc.Drug Free Workplace:You could be just the right applicant for this job Read all associated information and make sure to apply.Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
