Registered Dental Hygienist

We're looking for a registered dental hygienist to join our growing team! You'll complete initial patient screenings, conduct dental cleanings, and assist dentists with examinations and procedures. If you love helping people and want to work alongside a group of experienced dental professionals, start your application today!Compensation:$60 - $70 hourlyResponsibilities:Perform preliminary dental examinations to get an overview of the patient's oral health history for the dentistIdentify dental issues such as periodontitis, gingivitis, or cavities so they can be treated as soon as possibleProtect patients' teeth by thoroughly cleaning them and applying fluoride or other sealantsTalk to patients and make sure they feel comfortable and taken care of before, during, and after the examinationUse molds to create dental impressions of patients' teeth so that their mouthguards, dentures, veneers, etc., are correctly madeUse x-ray machines to take photos of the patients' teeth so the dentist can clearly identify cavities or other oral health issuesKeep detailed records of each patient's visit and update their health historyWork with dentists to decide the best form of treatment for a variety of dental diseasesRemove plaque and apply fluoride or other sealants to prevent cavities and tooth decayQualifications:Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service skillsThe following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.Valid CPR certificationBachelor's degree or master's degree in registered dental hygiene program preferred, associate's degree requiredPossesses a state license to practice dental hygieneAbout CompanyWe are a very progressive specialty practice, and we have a terrific team.
