The physician will deliver prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care; perform gynecologic evaluations; diagnose and treat routine and complex conditions; perform deliveries; and prescribe appropriate therapies. The role emphasizes patient-centered, community-based care within a collaborative clinical model. Providers coordinate closely with advanced practice providers and nursing staff, ensure accurate documentation, adhere to evidence-based clinical protocols, and participate in quality improvement and regulatory initiatives. Additional responsibilities may include supervising APPs, serving as a preceptor for medical students and NP/PA trainees, participating in daily team huddles, supporting audits, and rotating between clinic sites as needed.
