At NYSTEC, we know that we succeed when individuals and teams flourish personally and professionally, so our benefits and perks support that mindset.About the Role:The facilities coordinator serves as a coordinator for multiple sites and supports the daily operations of the office environment to ensure an efficient, safe, and engaging experience for all employees and visitors. This role helps maintain a high standard of workplace presentation, assists in coordinating facilities, supports events and employee engagement activities, and provides administrative support, as needed. This role is responsible for the daily upkeep of the office to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for both employees and visitorsThis position is 100% onsite at our Albany location. Candidates must be able to work in person on a full-time basis. Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a point of contact for employees and visitors, providing information regarding the office environment, including workplace protocols, culture, and etiquetteAssess space readiness regularly, ensuring that workspaces, conference rooms, and offices are occupant readyDaily walkthroughsWorking IT hardwareClean WorkspacesLift and move items such as furniture, supplies, and equipment, as neededAssist in managing and escalating workplace concerns, complaints, or suggestions to the workplace experience managerMonitor and triage service desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution in line with policy standardsConduct periodic workplace satisfaction surveys and compile the resultsCoordinate the day-to-day operations of the facilities, including cleaning/janitorial, life-safety, engineering, and general maintenance (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and landscaping)Ensure that they are implemented and carried out in a manner consistent with NYSTEC policies and leadership directivesSupport internal on-site events and activities to foster team culture (e.g., office/team lunches, internal meetings, onboarding breakfasts)Support off-site events, including coordinating logistics and providing on-the-ground assistance to ensure a positive experience for all participantsMaintain records regarding building codes, fire codes, and other relevant regulations to ensure complianceSupport facility projects by collaborating with stakeholders, coordinating tasks, and providing status updates, as neededEnsure that scheduled preventative maintenance for equipment is properly and promptly performed; maintain the maintenance records on the equipment; and maintain operations, administrative, and quality assurance backup plans and procedural documentationProvide support in contacting contracted vendors on repair and maintenance work to ensure that repairs are conducted in a timely fashion and in accordance with our standard operating proceduresPerform light office upkeep to support a clean, organized, and welcoming workplace environment (e.g., restock supplies and tidy up communal areas)Support the process of continuous improvement and ensure 100% compliance with NYSTEC's protocols and any approved regional or office variationsExercise a high degree of confidentialityPerform other duties as assignedDemonstrate the NYSTEC Core Values and BehaviorsFor this role, travel is required at least 30% of the timeAbout you:Required Qualifications Computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite productsBasic understanding of creating and triaging service desk ticketsAdvanced written and verbal communications skillsEffective multitasking and time management skillsHighly responsive to internal and external customer needsGood decision-making ability and judgmentAbility to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendorsAbility to identify problems and evaluate resolutions for a positive outcomeDetail oriented and a high level of accuracyUnderstands NYSTEC's mission, brand mindsets, and core values and can put the behaviors into practiceEducation and ExperienceA high school diploma and five years of experience performing work in an office environment in an administrative capacityAn equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience will be consideredThe target hourly rate for this position is $22.85- $28.56.
