You will help establish and maintain a high standard of product quality through thoughtful design, testing, automation, and modern engineering practices.We are looking for someone who enjoys being deeply involved in the code, is comfortable with architecting systems end-to-end, and has a particular interest in building mobile applications.*Position Overview*At Arlow, you'll be part of a mission-driven startup building technology that helps older adults, their families, and caregivers stay connected, organized, and supported as they navigate aging.As a Full Stack Engineer at Arlow, you will play a key role in shaping the architecture and evolution of our platform. You will work across the entire stack, contributing to both mobile and backend systems, while influencing technical decisions, shipping meaningful product features, and seeing your work directly improve the lives of the people who rely on our technology.*Responsibilities**Product Development & User Experience** Build and maintain high-quality frontend experiences across web and mobile interfaces.* Work closely with product and design to implement intuitive, scalable user interfaces.* Develop full-stack features spanning frontend components, APIs, and backend services.* Contribute to core platform capabilities that support older adults, caregivers, and families as they coordinate care and daily life.*Development & Implementation** Collaborate with internal engineers and external development partners to design, build, and refine core platform functionality.* Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using modern development frameworks and tools.* Contribute to the architecture and evolution of our platform as it scales.* Work with platform and infrastructure teams to deploy features reliably.*Product Quality & Testing** Own and advance testing practices across the product, including automated UI, integration, and end-to-end testing.* Implement test automation using tools such as Maestro for mobile and end-to-end workflows.* Establish best practices for product reliability, regression testing, and release quality.* Work with the team to maintain a high bar for usability, performance, and stability.*Collaboration and Leadership** Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to deliver features aligned with our roadmap.* Collaborate with internal and external engineers to ensure high-quality implementation and outcomes.* Contribute to engineering practices that prioritize speed, product quality, and long-term maintainability.*Reliability, Security, and Compliance** Ensure privacy, security, and compliance considerations are integrated into system design and development.* Contribute to standards around testing, monitoring, and operational reliability.* Anticipate technical risks and design systems that minimize technical debt while enabling rapid product iteration.*What We Are Looking For** 5-8+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer building and shipping production applications.* Experience working in TypeScript-based environments.* Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks, particularly React, React Native, and Next.js.* Comfortable working across the stack, including frontend applications, APIs, and backend services.* Experience building consumer-facing products with high expectations for usability, performance, and reliability.* Experience implementing automated testing strategies, including UI, integration, and end-to-end testing.* Familiarity with end-to-end testing frameworks such as Maestro, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools.* Experience collaborating closely with product managers and designers to translate product ideas into shipped features.* Ability to move quickly while maintaining strong engineering standards, balancing speed, quality, and maintainability.*Compensation** Base Salary: Competitive salary with equity package.
