As we continue to grow, we are modernizing our technology environment"”transitioning from legacy on-premises systems to cloud-first platforms including Microsoft 365"”while maintaining a collaborative culture and strong work-life balance.*About the Role*This mid-level role blends *strategic project leadership* with *ongoing cloud operations and IT engineering responsibilities*. You will play a key role in architecting, securing, and optimizing our Microsoft 365 tenant as we complete our transition to cloud-native operations.Leading the migration of our on-premises Active Directory infrastructure and Kerio mail server to Microsoft 365 will be a major focus in the first year. In subsequent years, you will serve as a long-term Microsoft 365 and cloud platform engineer, responsible for maintaining, securing, and evolving our Microsoft ecosystem and other critical cloud-based systems.In addition to Microsoft 365, you will help manage and support:* *Egnyte* file storage and governance* *Jatheon* email archiving and compliance systems* *Amazon Web Services (AWS)* web application infrastructureYou will also collaborate closely with the broader IT team, occasionally assisting with help-desk escalations, user support, and cross-department technology initiatives.*Key Responsibilities**Microsoft 365 Architecture & Migration** Architect and configure our Microsoft 365 tenant, including Entra ID identity setup, security policies, and workload optimization* Lead migration of on-premises Active Directory to cloud identity, including user/group synchronization and full cloud transition planning* Plan and execute email migration from Kerio mail server to Exchange Online using IMAP tools and structured batch processing* Implement Microsoft Intune for endpoint enrollment, compliance, configuration profiles, and Autopilot (where applicable)* Configure Entra ID features such as Conditional Access, MFA, privileged identity management, and identity governance* Partner with leadership to implement Zero Trust principles, DLP, and threat protection controls*Ongoing Microsoft 365 & Cloud Operations** Administer and continuously optimize Exchange Online, OneDrive, Intune & Intune Installer packages and related workloads* Monitor tenant health, security posture, licensing, and adoption metrics using Microsoft 365 admin tools* Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational standards for long-term sustainability* Evaluate and implement enhancements to improve automation, security, and efficiency*Broader Cloud Platform Management** Support administration and governance of Egnyte file storage, including permissions, lifecycle policies, and integration planning* Oversee Jatheon email archiving policies, retention settings, and compliance requirements* Assist in maintaining AWS-hosted web application servers, including access control, monitoring, and coordination with development or external vendors* Contribute to cloud cost management, vendor coordination, and lifecycle planning*IT Operations & Team Collaboration** Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support for Microsoft 365, identity, and cloud-related issues* Occasionally assist with help-desk coverage and end-user troubleshooting* Participate in IT infrastructure planning, hardware lifecycle management, and system improvements* Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into secure technical solutions* Support audits, compliance initiatives, and internal security reviews*What We're Looking For** At least 3 years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 environments, including tenant configuration and migrations* Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams administration* Expertise in Entra ID (Azure AD), including Conditional Access, identity governance, and security best practices* Practical experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint security management* Experience migrating from on-premises email systems (Kerio or similar IMAP-based systems) and Active Directory to Microsoft 365* Experience supporting or administering additional cloud platforms (e.g., Egnyte, Jatheon, AWS, or similar systems)* Proficiency with PowerShell for automation and scripting* Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to support both project and operational workloads* Excellent communication skills for working with technical teams and end-users* Right to work in the United States*Preferred Skills and Experience** Microsoft certifications (Endpoint Administrator Associate, Identity and Access Administrator Associate, or Administrator Expert)* Experience with tenant hardening and Zero Trust implementations* Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, Defender for Office 365, or compliance tooling* Experience supporting AWS-based infrastructure in small-to-mid-sized organizations* Background working in consulting, engineering, or professional services environments*Benefits** Competitive salary of $100,000-$150,000 including year-end bonus, depending on experience* Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and wellness benefits* 8 paid holidays and PTO starting at 15 days per year,* Professional development opportunities for certifications and training* Collaborative team environment with opportunities to own impactful projects*How to Apply*Submit your resume and cover letter highlighting your experience with Microsoft 365 administration and migration projects (especially hybrid AD or email transitions) to .
